A Divine Bubble Bath

No GravatarYou would be hard pressed to find a woman that would turn down a bubble bath.  Warm scented water, a tub filled to the top with those tiny white bubbles, flickering candles, a glass of wine and some soft music… a perfect end to a long day.  What could possibly make it better.  What about a girly high heeled shoe tub tastefully glitzed for the feminine fashionista in you?   This artsy collection was created by the Italian-based SICIS Art Mosaic Factory.  The luxurious shoe tubs are decorated in flowery and glitzy glass mosaic on the outside and acrylic and/or fiberglass on the inside.  Which is your favorite?

Self Portrait by Dale James

No GravatarTonight I wanted to share with you my thoughts on Self Portratit by Dale James. I’ve never been a fan of music that overpowers a voice. Call me silly, but to me, good music is a great voice and good guitar softly coloring the lyrics. Dale accomplishes this as he traverses a spectrum of different genres affording us a glimpse of what a diverse talent he is. The fact that the album spans different styles it something I love. Listening to the same style over and over is like eating the same meal over and over. I love the diversity. From the butter smooth voice telling a story of heartbreak in “It’s Over” to the haunting reggae melody of “No Place In Our Time”,  to the crooner style of “That’s The Way I Feel”, he takes you comfortably through the transitions, leaving you wanting more of each style. As you listen to each track, it is clear there’s great care given to both the construction of the songs and the arrangements. Overall a very impressive album. I will be watching for more from Dale.  You can download Self Portrait at Reverbnation.
