No GravatarI love when a city takes the initiative to to incorporate art into it’s public areas.  The town of  Águeda, Portugal did just that with it’s  Floating Umbrellas display.  The umbrellas look like they magically float above the street.  What a amazing walk this must be.  I could not help but smile.

A Divine Bubble Bath

No GravatarYou would be hard pressed to find a woman that would turn down a bubble bath.  Warm scented water, a tub filled to the top with those tiny white bubbles, flickering candles, a glass of wine and some soft music… a perfect end to a long day.  What could possibly make it better.  What about a girly high heeled shoe tub tastefully glitzed for the feminine fashionista in you?   This artsy collection was created by the Italian-based SICIS Art Mosaic Factory.  The luxurious shoe tubs are decorated in flowery and glitzy glass mosaic on the outside and acrylic and/or fiberglass on the inside.  Which is your favorite?

 

New Cartier Commercial… Classy And Intelligent

Rob Hefferan’s Amazing Lifelike Paintings

No GravatarIf I were to splurge on one secret want, it would to be to buy a painting by an amazing painter named Rob Hefferan. His paintings are unbelievably beautiful and sensual oil paintings which are beyond words. They first time I saw his works, they were so realistic I thought they were photographs. Working in oils and acrylics, his ability to capture the luminescence of light and shadow is uncanny.  I’ve posted a few of my favorites and hope you enjoy and admire his work as much as I do. And if you ever happen to buy one, let me know.  I really need to buy that lottery ticket! Read more
