Now what can I really say about “Chick Beer”! The beverage’s founder, Shazz Lewis, realized one day that there were no beers geared towards women, so she decided to create some boozes that are “fun and sexy” by putting it in a purse-like box and dressing the bottles in little black dresses. I’ve yet to find anyone who can tell me how it tastes, but the beer is apparently more attractive to women by being less bitter and “burpless” from reduced carbonation. What do you think ladies… cute or belittling?

Somethings are just really over the top and I would have to put this home right up there. Portabello stretches across three oceanfront lots and is a private sanctuary designed for intimate family living and social gatherings. The name comes from Italian meaning beautiful door and it’s doors lead to unparalleled beauty to say the least. The home sold in late 2010 for $34.1 million, less than half the original $75 million asking price!
This spectacular home offers a combination of amenities unmatched on the southern California coast. Green lawns span vast ocean frontage. Views on both sides of the home are stunningly panoramic, yet absolutely private.
22,000 square feet of luxury: 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and 5 half bathrooms, a fantastic 2,000 square-foot master suite and exquisite, large living spaces ( living room, dining room, family room and pool house lounge). The oceanfront estate has exceptional entertaining facilities like a complete gym, a 2-lane bowling alley, a movie theatre complete with marquee, powder rooms, stage and ticket booth, a jewellery display space and an automotive museum that can display up to 12 collectible cars. Summer is still young with plenty more time for bar-b-ques. I can’t think of a more fun way than using the Carbque. A 1957 Ford Customline is completely transformed into the perfect centerpiece for your summer bash. Plenty of room for four people. The engine block is gone, and in its place is a propane grill. The black and white checkerboard floor and red and white sun umbrella really add to the retro diner look. Complete the look with retro Coca Cola glasses, some old time rock-n-roll music and you are set for the party of the summer. Read more
Absolutely love this post from Diana Adams at Bit Rebel!
This dress gives a whole new meaning to the words cocktail dress, well, since it actually makes cocktails. According to YouTube, “The DareDroid is a biomechanic cocktail making dress that uses medical technology, customized hardware and human temperament to provide you with a freshly made cocktail.” You may be wondering how “human temperament” affects the dress’s “cocktail making” ability, and that’s where playing a game comes into it all to add an unexpected twist of fun.
FastCoDesign and the dress website explain it best by saying, “Your presence triggers the dress to produce milk, and your willingness to play a game of Truth or Dare combined with your natural charm, triggers the decision to give you more than just tepid milk.” In other words, you get a shot of vodka if you’re reeeeeeeal nice. I like that concept.
If you walk up to a girl wearing this dress and spit out some cheesy pick-up line, you get no reward. If you approach her with sincerity, charm and playfulness, you get a White Russian. Yep, I like this a lot. The way this is designed makes the woman wearing it look like a host, or to me, almost like Seven of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager. It doesn’t look so much like a robot, but more like an exoskeleton from another time and place. The video below describes it all in more detail. This futuristic fun creation was made possible by designer Anouk Wipprecht, hacker Marius Kintel and sculpture Jane Tingley.

Cute, fluffy cat ears that move up and down are no longer a feline thing. Soon you too can point your ears when you’re concentrating and flop them down when you’re relaxing, thanks to Japanese company Neurowear.
Neurowear is launching a number of fashion accessories that can be operated by using brainwaves and the “necomimi” cat ears are just that.
Attached to a chunky black headband, the large while pointed ears twitch and turn, directly corresponding to brain activity. The harder your concentrate, the more errect they stand. The more you relax, the more then flop.
And that’s about all the necomimi ears do. However, thinking about the technology in those furry white ears does make you realize this could be the beginning of many great things.
Such technology could be used as a way to help people with extreme cases of mental or physical disabilities communicate. [Wired]
Check out the video of people trying them and see how useful they can be… that is if your inner feline is dying to come out.
Looking for something a little different in you living room? This is an Ikea Liatorp coffee table hacked to house an N scale train set. Interesting concept. Not my choice for my living room but it would be great fun in a game room.
